Sarah received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Georgia State University and a BA degree in Journalism from Northeastern University in Boston Massachusetts.
Her early career was in television production in New York City, working at MTV and managing her own production company. Her graduate school training came from helping families and adolescents in Atlanta through non-profit work and with the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice. She also worked at Georgia State University as a Graduate Assistant at the Office of Accessibility as an academic coach.
Since her grad program, she has worked as a Behavioral Health Services Manager for a non-profit at the Fulton County Juvenile Court for truancy court. There she created a teen girl skill-building group program for Atlanta Public Schools. She has continued her experience as a mental health clinician in corrections as well as her development in private practice work where she received her clinical supervision.
Sarah enjoys gardening, hiking, camping, traveling, especially to the beach, and spending time with her identical twin girls, her "almost step daughter", her partner of 11 years and pets, dog Millie and cats Angelo and Lola
Sydney received a Master’s degree in Social Work form Howard University in Washington, D.C., and received a Bachelor's of Science degree from New York University in New York.
Sydney is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. After a brief stint in law school, Sydney found her true passion: social work. After working in social services in Washington D.C. and the Baltimore area for a few years, Sydney received her Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from Howard University. In 2007, Sydney came home to Atlanta, and has been working in social services since that time. Sydney has worked as a Foster Care Specialist for one of Atlanta’s oldest child welfare agencies and also worked as a Program Manager for a non-profit at Fulton County Juvenile Court. Her work has specifically strengthened her experience with grief and loss, trauma, and family systems.
Sydney is an Atlanta native, and currently resides in Lawrenceville, GA with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys curling up with a good book, long hikes with her family, and canning vegetables from her garden.
Lindsey is a Licensed Master of Social Work from Atlanta. Lindsey earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English with a focus in creative writing at Georgia College & State University, before earning a Master of Social Work degree from Georgia State University.
Lindsey currently works as a mental health clinician in corrections with Centurion Healthcare. Previously, Lindsey spent three years working towards reunification of families with the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services, as well as a Creative Assistant in the Office of Strategy, Innovation and Engagement. Prior to this, Lindsey gained experience in both group and individual therapy with victims of domestic violence in metro Atlanta. Her combined work experience has focused on assisting adults and adolescents navigating the effects and behaviors associated with post- trauma.
Lindsey enjoys long walks through the Trader Joe's aisles, scoping out new farmers markets, heading down to the beach with family, and spoiling her pet cat, Winston.
